  • No Flash! ( with exceptions to embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos. )

Javascripts

  • The main website uses only 1 javascript ( virtualseafarer.com ) because older Internet Explorer browsers can't handle W3C standards for my CSS flyout menu on the left sidebar.
  • Embedding external YouTube videos adds 2 javascripts ( youtube.com, ytimg.com ).
  • The phpBB forum web application uses 3 javascripts for better user experience but it isn't absolutely necessary.
